Improved Life Choices is Delivered in Two Ways

1. Planning and Plan Management

Effective Plan Management is here to strengthen your ability in undertaking tasks associated with the management your supports. This doesn’t just mean ‘doing it all for you’ because at the end of the day, we are here to support the will and choices of the participant. It does mean building your financial skills, organisation skills, and enhancing your ability to utilise available supports.

Plan management refers to the management of funding which may include making payments to providers, expense claims processing, developing monthly statements for participants and claming payment from the NDIA. It also includes liaising with providers and participants to implement and manage the plan.

2. Financial Intermediary

As a Registered Plan Management Provider, Effective Plan Management can establish and implement support arrangements with providers and provide an ongoing monthly processing service. This involves liaising with providers and processing transactions for supports.

When you look for an NDIS Plan Manager, you should consider a provider that:

  • Has experience dealing with support providers across a range of services
  • Has well established processes for client management, recording and reporting processes
  • Proven history of customer satisfaction and strong business-to-business relationships
